Tuffy Dog Toys - Mega Construction:
Seven Rows of Stitching Tuffy Dog Toys can have up to 7 rows of stitching. The number of rows of stitching depends on the shape, size, and style of the toy. Two directions of cross stitching hold the multiple layers together. Rows of stitching hold webbing around the edge of the material and the toys' parts are sewn together with up to 3 rows of stitching. When possible, a protective webbing is added around the outer edge and sewn up to 3 more times.
Seven Layers of Material Tuffy Dog Toys can have up to 7 layers of material depending on the shape, size, and style of the toy. Our Mega Series can have up to 3 layers of Luggage grade material. Certain layers of material are coated with a layer of plastic to hold the fibers of the material together. Finally, we use soft fleece for the outer layer.
Protective Webbing For our Mega Series we add an additional layer of webbing whenever possible, around the outside edge to cover the seams of the toy. This is sewn multiple times, for added durability.
Squeaker Safety Pockets Squeakers are sewn into material pockets inside the toy. This additional layer of safety can give you the time you need to safely remove the toy in the event your dog reaches the core of the dog toy.
These toys are machine washable (air dry) and float.

The octopus looked like a good toy when it first arrived but unfortunately didn't last 2 months...
My 4 dogs have torn and worn multiple toys So far not this one highly recommended!
I love the the Tuffy brand, and Mega Oscar the Octopus is one of my dogs favorite. I bought this exact toy 5 or 6 years ago for my Australian Cattle Dog, he finally ripped off the last leg last month. This toy is his most favorite. The legs make it easy for me to hold onto while he tugs on it. He loves chewing on the legs to get to the squeaker in each leg, I love how I don't have to worry about him eating the stuffing or squeaker. He can knaw on the legs and they take years to destroy. He was so excited when I gave him the exact toy again! All my dog's soft chew toys are Tuffy Dog toys! My only complaint is that if I order from their website I can't ship to my home in Hawaii, I have to ship to my family's home in the lower 48, and have them mail it to me. Amazon sells their toys, but not all of them. This particular toy is only sold on their website. It's still worth it!
We have an 11 month yellow lab who destroys all the toys you can buy in the stores. We found this one and are amazed at the quality and durability of it. Our dog loves it and we believe it will last a very long time. There are no signs of breakdown anywhere on the toy and he is a very aggressive chewer. We also bought the lobster but are saving it for later. We would definitely recommend these products and will be future buyers again. Thank you for a wonderful dog toy.
These are excellent for my Doberman and his playmate (my ranch hand’s Doberman. These are the best ones I’ve ever purchased. They haven’t been able to tear them apart or shred them like other toys.
