Tuffy Dog Toys - Ultimate Series Construction:
Seven Rows of Stitching Tuffy Dog Toys can have up to 7 rows of stitching. The number and rows of stitching depend on the shape, size, and style of the toy. Two directions of cross stitching hold the multiple layers together. Rows of stitching hold the webbing around the edge of the material, and the toys' parts are sewn together with up to 3 rows of stitching. When possible, a protective webbing is added around the outer edge and sewn up to 3 more times.
Four Layers of Material Tuffy Dog Toys can have up to 4 layers of material depending on the shape, size, and style of the toy. Our Ultimate series can have up to 2 layers of Luggage grade material. Certain layers of material are coated with a layer of plastic to hold the material fibers together. Finally, we use soft fleece for the outside layer.
Protective webbing For our Ultimate series we add an additional layer of webbing, whenever possible around the outside edge to cover the seams of the toy. This is sewn multiple times, for added durability.
Squeaker Safety Pockets Squeakers are sewn into material pockets inside the toy. This additional layer of safety can give you the time you need to safely remove the toy in the event your dog reaches the core of the toy.
These Tuffy Dog Toys are machine washable (air dry) and float.

Multiple Layers Tuffy Dog Toys are the most durable toys available. This dog toy is made with one layer of soft fleece, one layer of industrial grade luggage material and one layer of plastic coating in the center. All three layers are sewn together to make one "Tuff" layer.
Sewn Multiple Times Most dog toys have just one seam to hold the toy together. Tuffy Dog Toys sew webbing around the edges of the toy and then sew the edges together to make each toy Tuff.
Squeaker Safety Pockets Squeakers are sewn into pouches as an added layer of safety.

Malinois approved for enjoyment. Our Malinois loves this to prance around the house with, but also to chew on, and that's where this could be improved. The stitching around the edges, especially where the edging overlaps needs to be toughened up to stand up to concerted Malinois chewing.
I have a 65 pound mutt who is a very aggressive chewer. She has both this ring and the yellow one and loves them both. Only a couple of loose threads and we’ve had them for two and a half weeks which is VERYY impressive for her.
Advice would be to get two rings and one of their animals so the chewing is dispersed against several toys. Also don’t get the animals that have little legs/ears/things poking out if you have a tough chewer, learned the hard way.
Nice and sturdy, made well. My dogs are monsters on toys and it's made it almost a year now!!!
This is a durable straight forward chew toy, Staying strong and surviving our aggressive chewer puppy Golden
My pup hasn’t shredded this but has been able to tear at a lot of the stitching.
